Every day is different at Knockhatch Animal Encounters Barn and depending on the day we might have guinea pigs, snakes, hissing cockroaches, lizards or spiders for you to hold. With you each step of the way will be our trained handler to ensure that you handle the animals safely and securely. You can wash your hands as many times as you like in the Animal Encounters Barn. Animal Encounters Barn Rules

Upon entering the Animal Encounters Barn, you accept the following risks and will adhere to the rules listed below

  • No food or drink can be consumed in this area.
  • Make sure your mobile phone is on silent or switched off.
  • Do not attempt to touch any of the animals unless you are told to do so.
  • Remain as calm and as quiet as possible while looking at and/or handling the animals.
  • Leave pushchairs to one side.
  • Do not block fire exits.
  • Wash your hands at the nearest hand washing station after touching any animal or after being in this area.
  • If you are pregnant, we strongly advise that you do not touch any of the animals.
  • The staff at Knockhatch Adventure Park reserve the right to refuse admission if they see fit to do so and stop the encounters at any time for any reason

KNOCKHATCH ADVENTURE PARK CANNOT ACCEPT ANY LIABILITY FOR INJURY CAUSED WHILST BEING IN THE ANIMAL ENCOUNTERS BARN. ANYONE BREAKING THESE RULES MAY BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE PARK WITH NO REFUND GIVEN.
