Heads up!Tickets can be purchased on the day at the entrance. There are online discounts when you pre-book 24 hours before arrival. The Lost World Playbarn requires you to wear (minimum) a sleeved t-shirt (no vest tops), knee length shorts and a pair of socks to ride the slides. Featuring the excitement of a roller coaster combined with the thrills of four water slides, and you won't need special clothes to ride. The Wave Runner 2 has twists, turns, and drops through high-banked curves, suitable for all riders, from beginner to expert!

STATEMENT

Height, age, physique and health restrictions apply on some rides for safety reasons. See below for any restrictions and check suitability before queuing. If you are unsure, please ask the ride operator or a member of staff for advice.

RESTRICTIONS

90cm to 120cm tall - must be accompanied by a responsible adult 17 years or above

150cm tall or above - must ride alone unless you are an adult 17 years or above accompanying a child between 90cm to 120cm

Maximum of 1 adult 17 years or above and 1 child per boat

Persons who suffer from vertigo, Meniere’s disease, back pain, spinal problems, heart conditions and pregnant women are advised not to use this ride. Persons with broken / fractured / prosthetic limbs cannot ride.

You must always have upper body control to hold onto the restraints at all times.

You must be physically able to climb a large number of stairs to access the ride and get into and out of the boat.

RIDE RULES

PLEASE READ THESE SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE PARTICIPATING

  • You must stay in your seat, facing forwards. You must be able to sit correctly in the boat.
  • Keep arms and feet inside the boat.
  • Hold on at all times.
  • Maximum of 1 adult 17 years or above and 1 child per boat.
  • An adult accompanying a child must be at the rear of the boat.
  • In the unlikely event that the ride stops early, do not attempt to get out of your boat until instructed to do so by the ride operator.
  • You are likely to get wet.
  • No loose items are permitted on the ride. These must be left with a non-rider.
  • No eating, chewing gum or drinking permitted whilst on the ride.
  • Clothes (top and bottoms) and shoes need to be worn on the ride.
  • Only ride if you are not nervous. No rider should be forced to ride.
  • On the steps keep an orderly single line on the right; keep the left-hand side clear for riders returning from the top.
  • Do not lean over the rails. If you fall you will be seriously injured or worse.
  • No smoking.
  • Spectators must remain behind and must not lean over the safety barriers or gates.
  • No liability will be accepted for any losses, damage or theft of personal items whilst on this ride.
  • You will be liable for any deliberate damage to any property of Knockhatch Adventure Park.

A responsible adult aged 17 years or older must assist the child they are accompanying and insure they follow all the rules and instructions given by the ride operator. In all cases the ride operators’ decisions and instructions are made on the grounds of safety. These are final and must be obeyed. Anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated.

BY TAKING PART IN THIS RIDE, YOU ARE AGREEING TO ADHERE TO THE RULES LISTED ABOVE.

KNOCKHATCH ADVENTURE PARK CANNOT ACCEPT ANY LIABILITY FOR INJURY CAUSED WHILST USING THIS RIDE.

WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ENTRY TO ANY PERSONS WITHOUT REASON.

ANYONE BREAKING THESE RULES MAY BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE PARK WITH NO REFUND GIVEN.
