Job Title: Park Team Members

Location: Knockhatch Adventure Park, Hailsham Bypass, Hailsham, BN27 3GD

Salary:

15-17 years old: £7.55 per hour (£8.00 per hour from 1st April 2026)

18-20 years old: £10.00 per hour (£10.85 per hour from 1st April 2026)

21 years and over: £12.21 per hour (£12.71 per hour from 1st April 2026)

Estimated Start Date: Easter Holidays (Saturday 28th March 2026)

Hours:

Zero-hours contract

Reduced Shift for 15 years - 9.30 am to 1.45 pm or 1.45 pm to 6.00 pm

Standard Shift for 16 years plus - 9.30 am to 6.00 pm

We are looking for Park Team Members to assist the current Adventure Park team during the busier times.

Job Role:

  • Running Park attractions
  • Till work – entrance and food kiosks
  • General cleaning and tidying, including litter picking

In this role you will NOT be working with animals.

This position requires applicants to be:

  • Willing to work outside in all weathers
  • Able to enforce health and safety policies and procedures at all times
  • Confident and courteous at all times
  • Willing to do general cleaning duties
  • Able to follow instructions to complete tasks
  • Keen to learn how to control our park rides safely and ensure members of the public are safe at all times when in operation
  • Demonstrate professionalism at all times

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Applicants MUST be 15 years or over for the position of Park Team Member
  • Applicants will be required to work weekends, bank holidays and school holidays
  • Applicants will be required to be polite, friendly and able to communicate with the public
  • Applicants are required to complete physical tasks
  • Applicants will need to have their own transport or other regular and reliable means of transport due to our location

Training Days:

If you get through the interview process you will be required to come for training. You must be available to attend two training sessions on

Saturday 14th March 2026 - 10.00 am to 5.30 pm

and

Monday 16th March 2026

5.30 pm to 6.30 pm or 6.30 pm to 7.30 pm.

This will be allocated to successful applicants.
