It’s been a bit of a whirlwind week at Knockhatch. We knew our capybara sisters were special, but we didn’t quite expect them to become the latest local celebrities. If you’ve switched on the telly or scrolled through your newsfeed lately, you might have spotted a couple of familiar, furry faces.

We’re sending out a massive thank you to the teams at ITV, BBC, Yahoo, and AOL for sharing the news. It’s also been brilliant to see the support from our local community, with Hailsham News, Sussex World, and BourneFree all popping by to see what the fuss is about. The girls have taken the fame in their stride—mostly by having a proper lounge about and keeping an eye out for their next snack. It’s lovely to see so many people getting excited about these gentle giants.
