Blackbeard's Buccaneer Restrictions

Maximum Weight: 150kg / 330lb

You must be at least 92cm tall to ride. Riders between 92cm to 125cm must be accompanied by a responsible adult aged 17 years and above.

You must be above 125cm tall to ride alone.

Information

Persons who suffer from vertigo, Menieres disease, back or spinal problems, high blood pressure, heart conditions or any other medical conditions which may be affected by this ride and pregnant women are advised not to ride.

Accessibility

Riders should be in good general health and must have sufficient upper body strength to be able to brace themselves against the mild forces caused by the swinging ship.

Rules

PLEASE READ THESE SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE PARTICIPATING

• Maximum of 4 passengers per row.
• In an emergency make the operator aware.
• All loose items must be removed, or secure loose items can be placed in the bins provided.
• No sharp objects may be taken onto the ride.
• Riders must not try to manually open or close the safety bars.
• Riders must always keep their hands, arms and legs inside the ship at all times.
• Passengers must remain seated and always hold on tight.
• Never stand or change seats whilst the ride is moving.
• No eating, chewing gum or drinking permitted whilst on the ride.
• Clothes (top and bottoms) and shoes must be worn to ride.
• Mind the gap between the ship and the platform when entering and exiting the ship.
• Warning: Pathways, decking and ship can be slippery when wet.
• No smoking.
• Spectators must remain behind and must not lean over safety barriers or gates.
• This ride could cause motion sickness if you have just eaten, please do not use this ride.
• No liability will be accepted for any losses, damage or theft of personal items whilst on this ride.
• You will be liable for any deliberate damage to any property of Knockhatch Adventure Park.

A responsible adult aged 17 years or older must assist the child they are accompanying and insure they follow all the rules and instructions given by the ride operator. In all cases the ride operators' decisions and instructions are made on the grounds of safety. These are final and must be obeyed. Anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated.

BY TAKING PART IN THIS RIDE, YOU ARE AGREEING TO ADHERE TO THE RULES LISTED ABOVE AND UNDERSTAND THAT THERE IS A POSSIBILITY OF MOTION SICKNESS WHEN USING THE RIDE. KNOCKHATCH ADVENTURE PARK CANNOT ACCEPT ANY LIABILITY FOR INJURY CAUSED WHILST USING THIS RIDE. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ENTRY TO ANY PERSONS WITHOUT REASON. FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH ANY OF THE RULES MAY RESULT IN TERMINATION OF THE RIDE AND YOU MAY BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE PARK WITH NO REFUND GIVEN.
